Homeowners

Whether it’s an existing or new build property, there are so many options to choose from when thinking of becoming more energy-efficient and sustainable. R.E.S can provide advice and support in selecting the best option for you. You can purchase our system through your local merchant. We will then work with your preferred plumbing and heating engineer, or can recommend one of our trusted and reputable R.E.S installer partners, to carry out the installation to the highest standard. With full MCS accreditation, we can take care of the government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant paperwork and application.

Grant Funding

The government launched BUS (Boiler Upgrade Scheme) in spring of 2022, with the aim of supporting homeowners with their transition to low-carbon heating. The grant entitles eligible homeowners to claim £7,500 off the cost and installing an air source heat pump or ground source heat pump. We can support you with your grant journey and application.

Check if your home is suitable for a heat pump here and for more information and to check your eligibility for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme Grant here.

Installation

R.E.S have an installer network, whereby we can connect homeowners with reputable local engineers to help with the installation of low-carbon products. By choosing R.E.S you can rest assured that your installation will be designed to MCS standards, giving you access to government grants and SEG.

Whilst we umbrella the MCS installation, we carry out the design and system supply, as well as taking care of any necessary paperwork including the grant application. You can start your journey with R.E.S by visiting your local merchant or contacting us directly for a recommendation. If you’re a self-builder and already have a plumber in mind that’s ok too, we offer comprehensive training at our head office in Yeovil.
