Air source heat pumps are an energy efficient heating, cooling and hot water solution. Powered by 75% renewable energy extracted from the air and 25% electricity, they achieve A++ energy efficiency for heating and can be combined with solar PV to achieve maximum savings and self-sufficiency.

Lifespan

When properly maintained, air source heat pumps can last for around 15 years, providing a reliable heating solution.

Grant Funding

The government are currently offering £7,500 to homeowners for installing an air source heat pump, through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS). R.E.S can support both the homeowner and installer with the BUS application. Installation and system design must be carried out by an MCS-certified contractor.

R.E.S offers an annual air source heat pump servicing package to ensure the system is operating efficiently and effectively, as well as helping to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty. Daikin warranty is 5 years.
