Ground Source Heat Pumps
Ground Source Heat Pumps
We’ve partnered with Kensa, a leading UK based manufacturer of award-winning Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP).
Ground source heat pumps are considered one of the most efficient heating systems available. Their high efficiency is due to the relatively constant temperature of the ground or water sources for heat exchange. Typically for every unit of electricity used to run the heat pump, it produces 3 to 4 units of heat energy, making it significantly more efficient than conventional heating systems, which often produce a 1 for 1 exchange.

Kensa 5 years
Lifespan
When properly maintained, GSHP’s can last for around 20+ years, providing a reliable heating solution.
Grant Funding
The government is currently offering £7,500 to homeowners for installing a ground source heat pump through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS). R.E.S can support both the homeowner and installer with the BUS application. Installation and system design must be carried out by an MCS-certified contractor.
