Case study: From Oil Dependency to Sustainable Heating
This latest case study highlights the successful transition from an oil boiler to a sustainable heating source; an air source heat pump (ASHP) in rural Wiltshire, installed by Test Valley Heating.
The project was delivered in collaboration with R.E.S (Renewable Equipment Solutions) under their MCS partnership service. R.E.S provided full system specification, design, and MCS certification, while also supplying the equipment via the installer’s preferred merchant, Woodstock Plumbing Supplies.
This collaborative approach enabled the installer to focus on delivering a quality installation, while ensuring the homeowner received a highly efficient, MCS-compliant heating system, eligible for the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant.
